Welcome to the Fives’ Room. Here your child will learn and grow through fun activities that engage their mind, body and creative spirit.
Through a wide range of experiences, we teach your child the knowledge and skills they’ll need for success in kindergarten and beyond. We build upon what they’ve already learned to grow their abilities, increase their knowledge and discover their boundless potential.
Important Information About the Fives' Room
We emphasize kindergarten readiness, and our teachers use proven and trusted guidelines and educational programs. Lesson plans use the Handwriting Without Tears® curriculum, which includes math, science and social-emotional activities in addition to handwriting. We also use the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards as our guidelines to make sure all activities are developmentally appropriate.
